Harley Day
Harley Day the original founder of the company
Served in the Marine Corps during WWII. Started working in the construction industry and founded Day’s Aluminum Products out of Tampa, Florida in 1958. Trained and mentored current CEO of Day’s Aluminum Products Clyde Botner from 1985-1988. Officially Harley sold his company to Clyde in 1987. Harley continued working in the business until his passing in the late 1988.

Owner and Expert Builder
Clyde was born in Cocoa Florida and started working in the aluminum industry at age seventeen. Clyde started with the united awning of Orlando in the Bervard county area installing hurricane awnings, patio roofs and screen porches.
Clyde gained experience from Earney Boost owner of Florida builders aluminum constructed pool enclosures, glass Florida rooms, poured concrete slabs and foundations, and wood utility rooms.
In 1982-1985 Clyde began managing the prefabrication of pool enclosures, and screen rooms under his first business ‘Botner Aluminum and construction’.
In 1986 Clyde settled in Tampa Florida to build aluminum fencing on commercial outlet “franks nursery and crafts”. There Clyde met Harley Day owner of days aluminum products and purchased his company in 1987.
